I am pleased to announce that I’m running for Assembly in West Anchorage, District 3. I’m honored to have the support of Eric Croft, who currently holds the seat and announced at yesterday’s Assembly meeting that he is not running for reelection. I'm also honored that fellow West-Anchorage Assembly rep Austin Quinn-Davidson has signed on to Co-Chair my campaign.
I hope you can make the campaign kickoff!
As a father with two young children, and as a mid-career director of a local non-profit, running for office isn't automatic for me. But I was born and raised in Alaska. I love our home and our community. I have spent the last 25 years leading organizations that make our home a better place to live, including serving our kids as Member and President of the School Board for four years. I promise to work relentlessly as your Assembly Member to help grow Anchorage into the strong, vibrant, and safe community we all envision.
I hope you can make it to our campaign kick-off on Thursday, December 13th, at Deena Mitchell’s at 5pm! We have a great roster of cohosts. I can’t wait to gather with this community and get the momentum going. RSVP here.
Even if you can’t make to the kick-off, there are many ways to get involved from volunteering to donating to the campaign. This campaign will try to reach as many voters as possible--in the coming months we’ll be door-knocking, making phone calls, sending mailers, and making sure that West Anchorage continues to have the quality representation our neighbors deserve. I would be honored to have your financial support so I can reach as many voters as possible. You can donate here.
I look forward to maintaining the strong legacy of fair and effective leadership for West Anchorage that Eric has championed on the Assembly.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like to have any questions or concerns or want to get involved. Just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call my cellphone at (907)-602-1667.
